AWFUL!!!! did not deliver the cake on the wedding day!!!! dodged phone calls ALL day and then when we were finally able to get ahold of them (by reaching some woman who said we were calling the wrong # until we verified it was the one on the website) he claimed, "he had no orders to the ca'd'zan that day although we NEVER mentioned the order was to the ca'd'zan. we should have known better when he was an asshole throughout the entire tasting but we were in love with the cake we had chosen. i absolutely would not recommend this person to anyone! he could have been honest and told us the order would not make it instead of dodging phone calls- do not use!

After going through 13 brain surgeries in10 years we still have a ton of romance for each other that is only made better by the icing on one of your cupcakes. What an incredible job Cakes by Ron did for my 50th birthday cake. The detail was incredible for this one-of-a-kind replica of the vest that my brothers and I wear when we ride. It blew away the guests with the stitching, authentic leather look, and of course, the taste! Absolutely incredible and we were all blown away!

I recently attended a birthday party for my 12 year old niece. She purchased a cake from "Cakes by Ron". Typically, these fondant cakes look beautiful, but lose it at the taste of the cake. This was NOT the case with Cakes by Ron. The cake and cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious! I loved that the hostess got samples of all their cupcake flavors as well so everyone got to sample each of them! I have been to Carlos Bakery in New Jersey, aka, "The Cake Boss" and to Heavenly Cupcakes here in Sarasota and they can not hold a candle to Cakes by Ron.

I tasted a cupcake that someone had brought in to work from a fundraising event. They were not sure where it came from. I tracked it down and it was your Boston Cream Cupcake. It is TO DIE FOR!!!! The BEST cupcake I have EVER had!!! Amazing!! Great unexpected surprise when you bite into it, if you don't know what kind it is. I will definitely be in to have another one or two :D

CAKES GONE WRONG!!!! I don't know how they are still in business. When first dealing with them I should of known it wouldn't go right, from the fact of never getting back to me in a timely manner or when, My parents stopped in ahead of time to pay for the grooms cake and drop my cake topper off and said the owner had a personality of a rock! I wouldn't recommend Beautiful cakes by RON for my dogs birthday! Long story short. They forgot my grooms cake the day of my wedding and instead of contacting me (BRIDE) the next day I had to contact them. At this time I was beyond angry. LAURA was nothing but rude and unprofessional. Cakes by RON claim they "FORGOT" to deliver my grooms cake because they were so busy. But yet had time to deliver my wedding cake which was the wrong filling in the middle. At last I was refunded my money and the cake was delivered the next day, which was also the wrong flavor and filling as well. If you looking for cake for any ocassion your better off going to PUBLIX GROCERY STORE.

WOW WHAT A CAKE!!!! Every single guest at our wedding (120 people) was in absolute awe of the cake that you made for my wedding at LBKC this past weekend. The iridescent shells were just gorgeous and the blue/green sea glass in a wave like pattern around the cake was just perfection. The entire cake was magnificent and it was even better than what we had discussed and I could have ever imagined it to be. The cake also tasted delicious!!!!! Last Year, August 2nd, you made the cake for my husband & I's wedding that we had in Clearwater Beach, FL at the Belair Country Club. We are celebrating our one year this weekend and we just tried our cake topper. The topper was just as AMAZINGLY good as it was at our wedding! Ron did a 25th wedding anniversarycake for me last August, all I have to say is WOW!I came to him with a specific design and... left it as that he promise me he could do it and I left it as that I never even taste his cakes so you could say I was walking by Faith literally. I walk through sam selzler and was flabergasted by what I saw a 3 tear cake with a gift box square cake tilted to the side of the cake. You have to see it to know what I am talking about! My children and I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your website. I was talking to my son about what he wants to be when he grows up and he always says a baker, so decided to do a google search and found yours and showed him what he could do.

Ron created our cake masterpieces for our wedding at the Ringling Museum a few years ago. It was 2 days after Christmas, so each table had it's own cake "present" centerpiece. Not only were they the best tasting cakes EVER, they were the perfect finishing touch to decorating my tables! Ron was so friendly and patient. I wish I could get married more often so I could eat more of his cakes!

I think these comments fail to mention how amazing Ron's cakes taste! He made our Groom's Cake (chocolate with strawberries and strawberry filling) and our wedding cake (key lime with key lime filling), both of which were stunning and still have people talking about how great they tasted. On top of everything Ron's prices are so affordable. If you are considering using him definitely pay a visit to his shop and sample his cake for yourself and take a look at his books of cake pictures.
